The ride down to Mexico was fairly uneventful. We did have a bird hit the van which was pretty wild. We went through the border and we got our visas then we ran into a snag. The vehicles were rented to the church and not John or Terry so they would not approve our paperwork. Terry found a business card in the van and we prayed that it would work. They wanted a letter on official letterhead and they would not take a fax. One of the clerks suggested taking a business card photocopying it and then writing a permission slip on it. We crossed the boarder at lunch but we didn't get through immigration until after 3:00. I attached a copy of the hand written letter that Terry put together that got us through.
